Guitar Gabby & The TxLips Band

“I started this collective because…

I saw a large gap in the music industry and not enough women of color being represented. Guitar Gabby & The TxLips Band is more than just a collective of boss musicians. We are setting the tone for BIPOC women and gender-expansive rock stars to own and operate in their own light within the music industry. I wanted to create a platform for everyone to partake and tour according to their passions, schedules, and life's hectic demands.

Black girls exist in every shape, shade, personality, identity, style, and yet, like a field of colorful tulips, you are still beautiful. It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, or how you identify. We believe in using our voices and musicianship to inspire the past, present, and future generations by being ourselves with no limitations, hence the "x".

I invite you to join the #TxLipNation filled with game-changers all here to contribute to the change we want to see in this world.”
